Ferngrove King Malbec 750ML

There are 3 blocks of Malbec in total at the Ferngrove Vineyards. The first 3.5Ha were planted in 1998 and a further 5Ha in 2005. Two blocks have a north-south orientation and the other block is planted east-west. The ancient soils consist of shallow iron stone gravel with a red friable clay. Silvereyes love Malbec and given it is harvested late in April, bird pressure can be high. We net all of our Malbec blocks. The vines are drip irrigated and shoot thinned. The fruit is hand-picked.
